Description
This is the rounded square replacement cutter for the pen shear scraper included in Sorby’s Modular Micro Resin Pen Set (#187708). The High-Speed Steel External Shear Cutter is a convex square cutter set at 45 degrees and designed to shear scrape the outside curves of any pen-sized project. Works well with acrylic and resin blanks.
Sharpening can be done with the cutter mounted on the tool using a diamond file or honing stone around the profile. For best results and to extend the cutter’s longevity, sharpen often removing as little material as possible.
