Offering portability with a host of features, the WoodRiver® 2-Inch Heavy Duty Table Vise is a handy option to have around in the shop, backyard or on the job. The first feature of this vise, is that at 5 lbs., 8 oz., it has the heft and feel of a much larger vise (you do not want to drop it on your foot). Second, this vise has a clamping capacity ranging from 1 to 2 inches making it almost impossible to find a surface in your workshop that it will not clamp on. Next, you’ll never find yourself on the wrong side of the vise in an awkward position because it swivels a full 360°. Finally, the 2″ wide, 2″ capacity (recommended) jaws will hold big stuff, as well as delicate small work, with aplomb, and just for good measure it has a small anvil on the back to straighten nails or shape a little metal. We tested this little/big vise in our shop and think it is a solid performer.
