Description
Plastic plate with a 1200 Grit and 400 Grit diamond coated metal plates embedded on opposite sides. This means the stone is thinner and lighter which translates into it’s easier to take on the road with you. We found this stone to be just the thing for preliminary shaping, beveling chisels and plane blades, sharpening knives, and touching up turning tools. The 400 Grit side removes material quickly, while the 1200 Grit side can be used to refine and touch up the edge.
