The Hopkins Chest is a unique medical institution located in Baltimore, Maryland. It is the home of the oldest and largest hospital-based infectious diseases program in the United States. The Chest was founded in 1876 by Dr. William Osler and Dr. William Halsted and has evolved to become a comprehensive center for diagnosis, treatment, and research in infectious diseases.
